AVL Digi-Track
AVL Digi-Track is a GPS and GPRS vehicle location device for fleet management applications. Web-based software lets you view and monitor your company's vehicles, showing alarms and sensors for each vehicle and also allowing you to send signals or commands to them.

General features
- Low power consumption
- Its voltage range of 10 V ~ 35 V means it can be powered from 12 and 24 volt batteries.
- Built-in GPS receiver module
- Based on a state-of-the-art chip that provides high sensitivity, delivering an accurate position quickly without high power consumption.
- Automatic GPS antenna fault detection
- If there is no GPS signal to send the data, the device automatically keeps searching for a signal and reports its current status to the control centre.
- Unique ID
- Each unit has a unique identification code, allowing it to be reliably identified and any change or query to be carried out quickly and easily.
- Built-in internal Flash memory
- It has internal flash memory, so when the device cannot find a GPRS signal to transmit data, the data is not lost but stored until it reconnects and can transmit it. This memory is non-volatile and can be rewritten more than 100,000 times.
- Remote programming of unit parameters
- All parameters can be modified remotely via GPRS communication.
- RS-232 communications port
- This port allows communication with various devices such as cameras, display devices, engine protectors, sensors, etc.
- Panic button
- In an emergency, the device has a panic button which, when pressed, automatically sends an emergency alert with the exact position to the web software. It also sends an emergency SMS to a mobile phone.
- 5 input/output ports
- These ports can be configured to report special events, for example whether a sensor's state is high or low, or to send a warning or signal from the control centre to the vehicle.
- Internal lithium battery (optional)
- Thanks to the lithium battery, the device keeps working even when the engine is switched off.
- Shuts the unit down immediately or with a delay after the engine is switched off
- The device can be shut down by means of an ACC (engine off) signal. This way, the device can keep working normally and transmitting data after the engine has been switched off.
- Digital impact or shake detection (optional)
- Together with the lithium battery, the digital impact or shake detection system can be activated. When the engine is off, if the vehicle undergoes any sudden movement, it sends the information to the web software and periodically reports its position. The sensitivity at which the system reacts can be configured when programming the device, or remotely later on.
